Exotic pets: education or legislation?

Wednesday April 29th 2015

The growing number and variety of exotic pets being kept in the UK has sparked a debate about the best way to encourage responsible ownership. Should we adopt an education approach or a more radical approach recently taken by the Netherlands and consider a total ban on the keeping of some species as pets?

Vet Jacqui Paterson will discuss the issues and lead the debate at the Dick Vet. It's FREE for Dick Vet students including refreshments from 1.15pm and the talk starts at 1.30pm. Come to this AWF event and give us your feedback to be entered in our prize draw to win £30 AMAZON vouchers.
